Move over Brexit. Across the pond, surveys suggest that a Global Recession has taken the lead as the #1 worry.

Indeed, that’s the underlying message of TheRealHeisenberg’s article, Oh, Good: ‘Global Recession’ Tops Worry List in Closely-Watched Credit Survey (Feb 21, 2019).

The article seeks, in part, to examine China’s influence in stabilizing uncertain waters, or not, as well as how much of a role the concerns of investors themselves becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Meanwhile, the European Central Bank (ECB) examines the feasibility of continued policy normalization at the risk of their efforts coming too late to be effective.
